Joined Metalsa in 1995. During this time Polo has held a variety of roles. Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Technology, President of the Light Vehicles Division and since April 09 as Metalsa’s Chief Executive Officer. Outside of Metalsa, Polo serves on different boards and he is the president of the Monterrey Automotive cluster (CLAUT). He earned a degree in Public Accounting from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master’s Degree in Management from Stanford University.


Ms. Liliana Durán has been our Global Human Development Director since January 2017. She has wide experience in the Human Development area; she has performed different roles within HD as Talent Management & Human Planning Coordinator, also she has experience in M&A. Prior to join Metalsa, she worked in the HR field in companies as Rockwell Automation & Parker Hannifin as HR Manager. Ms. Durán has an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor in Administration & Systems Engineering from the Nuevo Leon Autonomous University.


Mr. Ricardo Coto is responsible for Metalsa Global Procurement. He joined Metalsa in August 2013 and has more than 20 years of experience in the auto industry. His previous experience includes Procurement and Supply Chain in different Tier1 companies and OEMs and has complemented his career with different training in negotiations and management programs. He majored in Business Administration at the Universidad de las Americas Puebla (UDLAP). Ricardo is leading Procurement’s global evolution in Metalsa to transcend from an operative area to a strategic one. He is the current President of the Tooling Development Board, which is part of the Nuevo Leon Automotive Cluster (CLAUT).


Mr. Ricardo Alemán has been our Innovation and Technology Coordinator since February 2018. He has a 23-year career within the company and he has performed as México and Latin America Light Vehicles Coordinator, Mexico Light Vehicles Coordinator among others. Mr. Alemán has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelor's Degrees in Industrial Engineering from the Nuevo León Autonomous University (UANL).


Mr. Eduardo Barreda has been our Corporate Development and Finance Coordinator since February 2018. He started working in our holding company Proeza in 2007, he occupied different positions Planning & Administrative Coordinator, Corporate Strategic Development Coordinator and Strategic Development Co, after 7 years he moved to Metalsa. In addition, Mr. Barreda prior joing us he was the Director of A.T. Kearny, and he also worked as Project Manager for London Consulting Group, among other positions. He has an MBA from the London Business School and a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering from the Technological Institute of Superior Studies of Monterrey (ITESM).


Joe is responsible for the Body and Chassis business since Feb 2018. Joe joined Metalsa in Aug 2016, as Light Vehicle Technology Coordinator. Prior to joining Metalsa, Joe has spent 25 years in Light and Commercial vehicles, holding positions in Engineering, Quality, Product Development, Strategy, Sales, and Management Consulting at Ford, Elringklinger, Ricardo Consulting, and Meritor. Joe has an MBA from the University of Michigan, and Bachelors in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from SUNY.


Currently serves as President of Body on Frames Strategic Business Unit. Jorge joined Metalsa in 1997 and has previously contributed in roles such as Chief Technology Officer, China & South Africa Operations Vice-president, and a variety of business management positions during his career. Mr. Garza has an MBA from IPADE business school, a Master degree in Automotive Engineering from Lawrence Tech University and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Superior Studies of Monterrey (ITESM).

Mr. Luis Banzato has been our Operations and Systems Coordinator since February 2018. He joined Metalsa in 2013 as Brazil Plant Coordinator. Mr. Banzato, prior to Metalsa worked for Pirelli as Brazil Plant Director, Logistics Director for Latin America and Operation Director for Latin America, among other positions. He has an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNICAMP.
